Alphonce Msigwa is the WICO Board Chairperson. He is a Senior Ecologist at Burigi- Chato National Park in Tanzania. Alphonce’s area of specialization is centered in natural resources management, community outreach and animal health programs. He is experienced in managing donor funded projects, supervising training, managing staff, maintaining communication with various stakeholders, report writing and articles where he has published more than 28 nature conservation articles, scientific papers and proposals. Alphonce has seen first-hand the power of education in creating economic independence and believes that women and girls will shape the future of work. He believes that WICO is providing the essential backbone to unlock change worldwide.
She is the WICO Board Secretary. She is a forensic scientist by training; she works as a Biodiversity Partnerships Manager at Basecamp Research, London, UK. She is also a huge champion of STEM for girls and aspiring our youth to increase their science capital.
